The Louis de Sacy champagne is mainly exported to the United States and a few other countries, and it is distributed only through the company's most reliable partners. In the whole of the Champagne area, only 17 villages out of 319 are classified Grand Cru. Louis de Sacy's vineyards, which extend over 18 hectares of land in Verzy, are in that number.
The Champagnerie Louis de Sacy was founded in 1633 and always stayed in the hands of the same family. Thirteen de Sacy generations have been engaged in producing this unique champagneout of their own crops. The company mainly makes Cuvée wines from first-phase press, part of which is fermented in small, old barrels for as long as it takes to get to the high wine standards.
